Humble Yourself Before God

‘ O’Israel, return not the Lord thy God: for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity. Take unto you words, and turn to the Lord, and say unto him, take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips.’ - Hosea 14:2-3

We must humble ourselves before God.

In the end,

Money will be worth nothing.

Fame will be forgotten.

Influence, prestige, and status,

Will have no merit.

Do you have someone to forgive?

Now is the time.

Are you holding onto the burden of self?

Let it go.

Are you placing your faith in something other than God?

Redirect your attention.

Humble yourself before God.

Politics, and automobiles, and handbags,

Will become irrelevant when we come face to face,

With our Heavenly Father.

We must repent for any harm we have caused.

And forgive our perpetrators.

And humble ourselves before God.

Today is the day.

Now is the time.

Sit quietly today.

And inventory your life.

Write the circumstances,

You can remember,

Where you have been harmed,

Or, you have harmed another.

Ask the Lord for forgiveness.

And forgive those who have transgressed you.

The burden is no longer yours to carry.

Surrender it to the Almighty One.

Place your hands on your heart,

And say to yourself,

I forgive you.

Fall to your knees.

And ask the Lord,

To forgive you.

Ask Him to occupy your heart.

Ask Him to reveal Himself to you.

So that you may be liberated.

Humble yourself before God.

Prepare your heart for His return.
